Queta Rodriguez Announces Candidacy for Bexar County Commissioner, Precinct 2
Queta L. Rodriguez will formally announce her candidacy for Bexar County Commissioner, Precinct 2, at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Elmendorf Lake Park, 3700 W. Commerce, San Antonio, Texas.
“I am born and raised here – and I am passionate about our community. While serving my country for 20 years as a United States Marine, I always knew I would return and continue being a servant leader. I am committed to creating positive change where it is long overdue.”
Queta enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1991 and spent 10 years as an Intelligence Analyst. She was commissioned as an Officer and served another 10 years as a Manpower Officer supporting forces in the Pacific and Middle East. She retired as a Captain and since 2013, she has worked as an advocate for transitioning military, veterans, and their survivors, and is engaged in the local community.
“The citizens of our County deserve active and engaged leadership that works hard to address the challenges that face our community, serves as a true voice of the people, is open and transparent, and works hard to create greater opportunities for everyone.”
Queta believes It’s Time for effective change.
